Job summary

Jazz Aviation LP is seeking an Airport Operations Support professional to maintain radio communications and relay information across flight crews, ramp, sales, and maintenance teams in Toronto. You will coordinate gate assignments, towing, and changes to arrivals/departures while prioritising safety and efficiency.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility to work varying shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in working with multi computer screen system.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high stress environment.
• Excellent multitasking and decision-making skills.
• Must obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identification ID pass.
• Willing and able to work varying shifts.
• Ability to remain seated for extended periods while working at a computer workstation.
• English language fluency or working knowledge.
• Note: Bilingualism (English and French) is required to work in Montreal.

Responsibilities

• Plot gate assignments on Gate Management System and plan/coordinate aircraft towing in accordance with gating restrictions to ensure safe movement of aircraft, personnel and passengers.
• Monitor forecasts and routing changes, forecast all changes in arrival/departure times, notify appropriate personnel and update FIDS/FMIS screens accordingly.
• Investigate delays and code them in the appropriate Airport Operations systems.
• Assist in other related duties as instructed by shift manager/supervisor.
• Perform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures while giving primary consideration to personal safety, and the safety of co-workers and customers.
• Perform other related duties, as assigned.
