An introduction to statistical methods; descriptive statistics; the normal distribution; basic techniques of statistical inference; confidence intervals and hypothesis tests for population means and proportions; simple linear regression; and one-way analysis of variance.

The semester is from January 6, 2027 to April 28, 2027 with the final exam period running from April 15, 2027 to April 28, 2027.

Expectations for Sessional Lecturers include, but aren’t limited to, the following:

Physical Demands Pay Grade Faculty Sessional Salary Range As per URFA Collective Agreement Status Term Work Hours

This course is offered on Wednesdays, 1:00 pm – 3:45 pm

The Sessional Lecturer is expected to teach Hybrid- remote for each of the lectures and provide regular weekly office hours for students.
