Job summary

Syndio is hiring a Staff Engineer to shape cross-cutting platforms and external integrations. You’ll work directly with senior leaders to deliver scalable APIs, robust identity controls, and reliable third‑party connections across HRIS and enterprise tools.

You’ll influence architecture, own internal tooling, and help Syndio advance its pay governance and compensation intelligence platform with modern tech and security best practices.

Qualifications

• Staff-level engineer with high output and cross-team impact.
• Strong experience in distributed, service-based systems.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Node/JS, TS, React, Postgres and NoSQL.
• Familiarity with caching layers like Redis and related tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Build outward-facing surfaces for the platform and internal tools.
• Own third-party integrations with major HRIS and ES platforms.
• Design scalable APIs with attention to versioning and reliability.
• Lead identity and access work including OAuth/OIDC/SAML integration.
