Job summary

Ranger AI is seeking a Staff/Senior Product Manager for a highly customer-facing, remote role. You will work directly with enterprise customers, understand complex workflows, and design AI-enabled solutions alongside them.

Embedded in key accounts, you will lead discovery, translate requirements for engineering and design, and shape the platform by turning lessons from deployments into reusable capabilities.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Staff/Senior Product Manager at Ranger AI. This is a highly customer-facing, hands-on product role for someone who is comfortable working directly with enterprise customers, understanding complex workflows, and designing AI solutions alongside them.

The Senior Product Manager will be embedded in key enterprise accounts, lead product and workflow discovery, design agent-based solutions, and translate customer requirements into clear specifications for engineering and design. You will work closely with Forward Deployed Engineers, sales, and customer success to take solutions from discovery through implementation and go-live.

This is not a traditional roadmap-only product role. You will be expected to roll up your sleeves with customers, map their processes, make solution design decisions, manage delivery, and determine which customer needs should become reusable platform capabilities.

You will also help shape Ranger’s broader product roadmap by identifying patterns across deployments and turning those learnings into scalable product features.

What You Will Do

• Work directly with enterprise customers to understand their workflows, pain points, systems, and requirements.
• Collaborate closely with our GTM team and FDE team to help with customer deployment
• Lead product and solution discovery for new customer use cases.
• Help design the end-to-end solution, including workflows, user experience, integrations, and success criteria.
• Project-manage customer-facing product initiatives from discovery through delivery and go-live.
• Write clear product requirements and specifications for engineering and design.
• Work closely with Forward Deployed Engineers to ensure what gets built matches the customer need.
• Identify patterns across customer deployments and turn them into reusable platform capabilities.
• Own prioritization across customer requests, platform investments, and longer-term product needs.
• Help define Ranger's overall product roadmap and where the platform should go next.
• Stay close to customers after launch to understand adoption, outcomes, and what needs to improve.

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in enterprise software.
• Demonstrate customer centricity at a high level
• Strong experience working directly with enterprise customers.
• Experience owning complex product or implementation projects from discovery through delivery.
• Strong solution-design instincts — you can understand a business problem and help define what should be built.
• Experience with workflow software, data platforms, enterprise applications, or developer platforms.
• Strong technical fluency across APIs, integrations, data models, and system architecture.
• Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to turn ambiguous customer feedback into clear product requirements.
• Strong judgment around what should be customer-specific versus what should become part of the core product.
• Comfortable working in an early-stage environment where the roadmap is still evolving.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Nice to Have

• Experience in manufacturing, energy, oil and gas, engineering, supply chain, or other industrial environments.
• Experience with AI products, LLMs, agents, RAG, or intelligent automation.
• Experience with RFP, RFQ, tendering, quoting, proposal, or contract workflows.
• Previous experience at an early-stage startup.

Compensation

• $155,000–$190,000 CAD base, depending on experience
