The candidate will contribute to tax returns, client communications, and process improvements while adhering to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of accounting experience, preferably in an accounting firm.
• CPA designation or active pursuit of CPA designation is preferred.
• Proficiency in iFirm, QuickBooks and Microsoft Dynamics, plus Excel.
• Strong organizational, time-management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and supporting documents.
• Audit and review financial statements with reduced supervision and thorough working papers.
• Complete compilation assignments with thorough documentation of working papers.
• Prepare personal and corporate income tax returns with reduced supervision.
• Draft letters and communications to clients.
• Collaborate with senior accountants to improve financial processes and systems.
• Meet internal and external deadlines and communicate with managers promptly.
• Ensure compliance with firm policies, accounting principles, and regulatory standards.
