Job summary

Our client in Mississauga, a public accounting firm, is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant for the non-assurance space. Reporting to Managers and Senior Managers, you will handle NTRs, compilations, financial statements, and personal/corporate tax returns.

You will also support investment working files and perform other ad-hoc duties as needed. The ideal candidate has 2-4 years public accounting experience, strong tax/investment knowledge, and excellent communication and time-management

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of public accounting experience
• Very strong tax and investment knowledge and experience
• Strong technical accounting experience
• Self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with various stakeholders
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to juggle multiple deadlines and engagements
