Metergy Solutions Inc. in North York, Ontario, is seeking an Analyst, Finance to join our finance team. You will support month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations and process improvements, while collaborating with finance, operations and external auditors.

The role offers exposure to forecasting, budgeting and liquidity management in a high-growth, energy-tech environment. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance (CPA in progress), 2+ years in accounting,

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA designation or working toward CPA.
• 2+ years in accounting with high performance.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Proficient in PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver management-ready materials.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Self-motivated, proactive and a team player.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to learn.

Responsabilidades

• Support month-end close including preparation of monthly journal entries.
• Analyze financial accounts and prepare reconciliations.
• Identify and implement process improvements for close and reconciliations.
• Compile and analyze key operating metrics and link to financial trends.
• Assist in developing, implementing and monitoring financial controls.
• Prepare analyses and reports for senior management.
• Involvement with forecasting and business planning processes.
• Prepare cash forecasting and liaise with banks for liquidity management.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses and presentations on financial results.
