McMan Calgary & Area is seeking a Senior Youth Development Coordinator for Manhattan Place Group Home. This permanent full-time role supports trauma-informed, strengths-based youth development and wraparound planning, coordinating with families and professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
Ideal candidates hold a Diploma or Degree in Human Services, 2–5 years’ experience with youth in group care, and have First Aid and Suicide Intervention training. Driver’s license and checks required.

Manhattan Place is a community-based group home for youth who are referred through Children’s Services. This home provides a safe and stable living environment with individualized support and around the clock care for youth aged 12-17 years. Manhattan Place works closely with youth to strengthen relationships with their families and friends and foster connections in the community.
The Senior Youth Development Coordinator will practice within a trauma informed framework that is a strengths-based, relationship-based and embeds a youth development approach. The role of the Senior Youth Development Coordinator is to support day to day operations in the house, including ensuring high quality programing and facilitating staff development through mentoring and role modeling McMan’s practice foundations. The Senior Youth Development Coordinator also plays a key role in integrating a wraparound approach with Manhattan youth which aims to achieve positive outcomes by providing a creative and individualized team planning process to achieve goals.
The schedule for this position is 3pm-11pm, Tuesday - Saturday*
