Job Title: Sr Software Development Manager

We seek a passionate Sr Software Development Manager to assess, design, develop, configure, and implement application and infrastructure solutions aligning with business needs and customer expectations. You will collaborate across OLG to ensure solutions drive desired business results.

Your role in the game:

• Lead the development of an API Middleware Application creating REST APIs with Java.
• Mentor team members and advise on tech stack and process improvements.
• Drive Agile practices including CI/CD.
• Conduct code reviews for maintainability, scalability, and efficiency.
• Develop and deploy prototypes, evaluating agile methodologies and tools.
• Support change and release management (ITIL), including planning and transition.
• Provide tier 2 and 3 application support, including on-call support.
• Identify risks/issues and communicate with stakeholders for mitigation.
• Prepare documentation for transition to the operations team.

Minimum requirements:

• 10+ years in medium to large technology environments, including 8+ years in solution development/delivery.
• Post-secondary degree in information systems or equivalent experience.

Primary knowledge: Java, GitHub, CI/CD, Agile, Microservices, DevSecOps, Open API, Middleware, SQL Server, REST APIs.

Secondary knowledge: System integration, Cloud Computing & Architecture.

Core competencies: Negotiation, strategic problem-solving, collaboration, integrity, and trust.
