Job summary

Softchoice is seeking a Senior SharePoint Consultant to advise enterprise and public sector clients on Microsoft SharePoint engagements. You will lead service delivery, plan and administer SharePoint environments, and manage complex deployments in a customer‑facing role from our Professional Services team.

The candidate will bring 7+ years of client‑facing professional services experience, strong migration expertise, and up‑to‑10% travel.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of work experience in a client‑facing professional services role.
  • Proven consulting experience in a similar role.
  • Proven hands‑on SharePoint migration experience.
  • Updated certifications and training including: Managing Microsoft Teams (MS-700), Microsoft 365 Administrator (MS-102), Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300), Information Security Administrator (SC-401), Sharegate, Quest ODM, SPMT.

Responsibilities

  • Lead service delivery functions and technical teams involved in planning, setup, configuration, and administration of Microsoft SharePoint solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and vendors on installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of SharePoint per contract SLAs.
  • Advise on, implement, and manage complex SharePoint deployments for clients.
  • Pursue relevant SharePoint training to stay current with trends and updates.
  • Support development of detailed Statements of Work with architects, engineers, and PMs.
  • Operate in a highly visible customer‑facing role.

Job description

As a Senior SharePoint Consultant within the Professional Services organization, you will consult with and advise enterprise and public sector clients on Microsoft SharePoint engagements. You will lead service delivery functions and technical teams involved in planning, setup, configuration, and administration of Microsoft SharePoint solutions.

What You’ll Do
  • Work closely with related teams on SharePoint projects including upgrades, installations, configurations, migrations, security enhancement, administration, policy development, and user training, requiring strong technical understanding of planning, designing, setting up, and administering Microsoft SharePoint environments.
  • Collaborate with internal co‑workers, customers, and vendor representatives on the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of SharePoint in accordance with contract SLAs.
  • Act as a technical expert with strong customer interaction skills, advising on, implementing, and managing complex solution and service deployments for clients.
  • Pursue relevant SharePoint training to stay current with new trends and technological updates.
  • Serve as a role model for our values of personal growth, customer passion, taking care of others, and owning the end result.
  • Operate in a highly visible customer‑facing role.
  • Support the development of detailed, actionable Statements of Work with architects, engineers, and project managers.
  • Continuously fine‑tune delivery, adoption, and problem‑solving skills.

  • 7+ years of work experience in a client‑facing professional services role.
  • Proven consulting experience in a similar role.
  • Proven hands‑on SharePoint migration experience.
  • Updated certifications and training, including:
    • Managing Microsoft Teams (MS-700)
    • Microsoft 365 Administrator (MS-102)
    • Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300)
    • Information Security Administrator (SC-401)
    • Sharegate, Quest ODM, SPMT
Compensation

The current base pay range for this position is $99,750 to $133,000 annually plus 14% target incentives. Actual salary will be based on location, experience, skill set, education, and certification. The range may differ in other geographic locations.
