Incident Response Security Analyst - Hybrid opportunity (In-office Tues/Wed/Thurs)

Security Operations handles day-to-day protection of our environment and tools, identifying security weaknesses, facilitating remediation, monitoring networks for abnormal behaviors, and managing security incidents to enable response processes.

Your Impact

• Managing the lifecycle of a security incident from detection to resolution
• Coordinating with IT, engineering, and stakeholders for containment, eradication, and remediation
• Performing digital forensic investigations and collecting digital evidence
• Communicating findings clearly to technical teams and management
• Understanding data privacy regulations and identifying privacy issues during incidents
• Researching cybersecurity threats and threat actors
• Conducting After Action Reviews and developing response plans
• Developing processes, procedures, and reporting metrics

What You Need To Succeed

• BSc in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related field
• 8-12 years of experience in incident response and threat detection
• Knowledge of international data privacy laws
• Experience with forensic tools like EnCase or open source equivalents
• Understanding of network security, protocols, and logs analysis
• Ability to make timely decisions and prioritize customer trust
• Leadership in setting quality standards and mentoring
• Ability to work under pressure and independently
• Rotational 24/7 on-call availability
