Job summary

Astra-North Infoteck Inc. in Toronto is seeking a Senior Power BI & Power Platform Reporting Developer to design, build, and maintain analytics solutions that drive data-driven decisions.

You will work in a hybrid setup (2 days in office), collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable reports, data models, and automated processes using Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Power BI reporting and Power Platform.
• Strong experience with data modelling, DAX, Power Query, and SQL.
• Experience with data governance, security, and row-level security (RLS).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights.
• Build and optimize data models using Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and SQL.
• Develop and manage Power Platform solutions including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse integrations.
• Gather business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into scalable reporting solutions.
• Create interactive visualizations and KPI dashboards communicating performance and trends.
• Integrate data from multiple sources (SQL Server, SharePoint, Azure, APIs, Excel) into Power BI.
• Ensure data accuracy, governance, and security with RLS and data validation.
• Perform performance tuning to improve refresh times and user experience.
• Collaborate with business users, IT, and project teams to deliver reporting enhancements.
• Provide documentation, user training, and production support for Power Platform solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable business insights and support data-driven decision-making.
