Job summary

Astra-North Infoteck Inc. in Toronto is seeking a Power BI Technical Lead to design, develop and implement enterprise BI solutions, ensuring scalability, security and performance.

You will define data models and semantic layers, drive governance, mentor developers and collaborate with data engineering to optimize data sources across SQL Server, Azure and APIs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading enterprise Power BI projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise Power BI solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Define data models, semantic layers, DAX standards, report architecture, and visualization best practices for business needs.
• Collaborate with data engineering to integrate data from SQL Server, Azure, Dataverse, APIs, and other sources.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, establish development standards, and ensure governance and security compliance.
• Support deployment, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and environment management across Dev, UAT, and Production.
