Qualifications

Our downtown client is looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for directing and coordinating multiple resources to manage and implement the project from initiation to final operational stage.

• Develops project charters, detailed project plans, business cases and other project management documentation as described in the Owner’s System Delivery Life Cycle methodology
• Plans, schedules, monitors and reports on deliverables and activities related to the project
• Leads the project team in understanding customer requirements and translating requirements into technical designs.
• Manages project costs, budgets, staffing requirements, project resources and project risk
• Creates and implements contingency plans to address risks and mitigation schedule revision, manpower adjustments, fund allocation and work requirements
• Controls project requirements, scope and change management issues
• Weekly and monthly status reporting.
• Chairs weekly status meetings and monthly steering committee meetings.
• Manages team leads and coaches members of cross-functional teams to accomplish project deliverables, meets established schedules or resolve technical/operational issues.

Sr. Project Manager (Oracle ERP) Mandatory Skills

• Minimum ten (10) years of experience managing IT projects
• 3+ (3) years of experience leading Oracle ERP projects. Experience with ERP implementations or re-installations would be considered a strong asset.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation, training and leadership skills.
• Successful direct management of IT projects ranging from $500 thousand to $10 million in size
• Proven ability to deliver clear and concise project documentation
• Proven ability to communicate with all levels of management, both verbally and in writing
