Job summary

Apps Associates LLC seeks a Program Manager to oversee large technology implementation programs with multiple sub-projects. The role involves collaboration with the PMO on internal initiatives to grow the practice and reports to the Practice Director within the PMO.

The position requires extensive program management experience, strong leadership, and the ability to work across waterfall, agile, and hybrid environments, including remote and on-site engagements.

Qualifications

• BS/BBA with 16-18 years of experience
• MS/MBA with 14+ years expected
• 5+ years of Program Management experience with programs of $7M+ annual revenue
• 10+ years of consulting experience in senior PM or program manager roles
• Lead a minimum of twelve full life-cycle implementations as PM/Program Manager
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong time management, organization, and collaboration skills
• Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams)
• Understanding of cloud software development lifecycle across waterfall, agile, and hybrid
• Ability to lead multi-pillar, multi-project programs
• Ability to communicate effectively with C-Suite stakeholders
• Effective risk management and escalation practices

Responsibilities

Job description

The Program Manager will be responsible for managing large technology implementation projects that contain multiple sub-projects within an overall program. These programs will have a high degree of complexity, are often on a global scale, and can contain multiple technology components. This individual will also be responsible for working closely with the Apps Associates’ PMO on internal initiatives to grow the Practice. This position reports to the Practice Director within the Apps Associates PMO.

Work Requirements

• Remote work approved with on-site/customer facing work required periodically depending on project phase and/or customer requirements
• For remote work, associate must have a dedicated space to conduct/attend meetings and perform job duties

Required Qualifications:

• Education and years of experience: BS/BBA 16-18, MS/MBA 14+
• 5+ years of Program Management experience with programs of $7M+ in annual revenue
• 10+ years of consulting experience, most recently in a Senior Project Manager, Program Manager, or similar level role
• Leadership of a minimum of twelve (12) full life-cycle implementations in the Senior Project Manager or Program Manager role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong time management, organization, and collaboration skills
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet (preferred), Jira (preferred)
• Proficiency with the Microsoft suite of business productivity tools (for example: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, One Note, Teams)
• Strong understanding of the cloud software development lifecycle including waterfall, agile and hybrid methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi-pillar, multi-project programs
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with C-Suite Stakeholders
