Job Summary

Our Truck Service team, comprising nearly 3,000 skilled technicians across 280+ locations, is led by a Truck Service General Manager. This leader oversees the profit center, manages a team, and ensures excellent customer service by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy-duty trucks and trailers, aiming to return travelers to the road better than they arrived.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and inspire your team to meet and exceed performance standards, fostering a fast, friendly, and knowledgeable service environment.
  • Create a trusting atmosphere for feedback, coaching, and performance management.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and retain motivated employees, cultivating a respectful and recognition-rich culture.
  • Oversee troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy-duty trucks and trailers professionally.
  • Ensure product and service availability through visual inspections.
  • Achieve financial goals by managing people, products, services, and facilities effectively, focusing on revenue and profit.
  • Manage payroll, accounting, inventory, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Adhere to safety standards and operational guidelines, including vendor relations.
Qualifications:
  • Leadership example for your team.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or bachelor’s preferred.
  • 5+ years supervisory experience in related fields preferred.
  • Strong planning, analytical, and financial skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to present operational plans and reports effectively.
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Pay Range

$70,000 annually. Actual pay depends on responsibilities, experience, and skills.

Physical Demands & Work Environment
