Job summary

Manpower is seeking two Senior Millwrights (433A) in Barrie, ON to join a high-automation manufacturing facility. Role supports CNC machinery, robotics, PLC systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics with day and straight afternoon shifts. 5+ years post-certification and leadership experience are required.

Compensation starts at 47.15 CAD/hour with a 0.50 CAD/hour afternoon shift premium. The position offers full-time permanent employment with health, dental, vision, life insurance, and RRSP/DPSP

Qualifications

• 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) CoQ or Interprovincial Red Seal.
• Minimum 5 years of post-certification experience.
• Experience with automated manufacturing environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex mechanical systems.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to mentor junior technicians.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair advanced manufacturing equipment.
• Support CNC machines, robotics, PLC-driven systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Perform preventative maintenance, overhauls, calibrations, and emergency repairs.
• Lead equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Utilize CMMS systems to document maintenance activities.
• Mentor apprentices and junior technicians while promoting a strong safety culture.

We're recruiting for 2Senior Millwrightsfor astraight DAYS and a STRAIGHTAFTERNOONshiftto join a leading automated manufacturing facility.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled trades professional with 5+ years of post-certification experience maintaining and troubleshooting complex CNC machinery, robotics, PLC-controlled systems, and automated production equipment. Beyond technical expertise, we're seeking individuals who can coach, mentor, and develop junior trades team members.

What You'll Do

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair advanced manufacturing equipment
• Support CNC machines, robotics, PLC-driven systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Perform preventative maintenance, overhauls, calibrations, and emergency repairs
• Lead equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

• 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) CoQ or Interprovincial Red Seal
• Minimum 5 years' post-certification experience
• Experience working in an automated manufacturing environment
• Strong experience troubleshooting complex mechanical systems
• Experience troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Experience troubleshooting electrical and/or PLC-controlled equipment
• Availability to work the required shift schedule and overtime, as needed
• Strong communication skills and professionalism
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching, or mentoring capabilities
• $47.15/hour + $0.50/hr shift premium for the afternoon shift
• 2 shifts available: days or afternoons
