About The Role
Thomson Reuters’ Demand Generation Team is dedicated to developing and implementing innovative and effective integrated marketing campaigns across a range of industry-leading products. This Manager role assists with setting the strategic approach, planning, and performance prioritization for Thomson Reuters demand generation within the Legal segment for the United States, delivering on the unique customer needs of these significant markets to ultimately drive marketing-attributed sales, revenue, and growth in this segment.

We are seeking an experienced, digitally savvy, and data-driven leader for a Sr. Manager, Legal Marketing Strategy to drive robust and integrated marketing strategies to boost E-commerce sales for the legal segment. This is a strategic, cross-functional leadership role working closely with the Director of Marketing Strategy, the segment GM, digital marketing teams, enterprise technology teams, and other marketing capabilities. The role requires strong data acumen, innovation, planning abilities, cross-functional leadership skills, and effective communication.

  • Help determine the buying journey for the E-commerce channel.
  • Partner with digital and product marketing teams to research and define buying personas.
  • Assist with creating, planning, and activating innovative marketing strategies for the Legal E-commerce segment, focusing on transforming and optimizing digital channels, demand generation, and product marketing to align strategies and priorities.
  • Forecast, measure, analyze, and report the impact of campaigns and demand generation activities on the marketing and sales pipeline, revenue, and demand funnel velocity.
  • Deeply understand Legal go-to-market strategies, insights, personas, customer segmentation, and competitive intelligence to translate business goals into marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate across marketing to bring strategies to life through planning, content integration, and effective demand generation programs.
  • Deliver marketing strategies that directly fuel digital sales.
  • Monitor the success of planning processes and identify opportunities for optimization and best practices.
  • Regularly review digital sales performance data, derive insights, and communicate action items to leadership and stakeholders.

About You

  • 6+ years of experience in digital marketing, growth marketing, or demand generation, with a deep understanding of marketing frameworks and channel activation.
  • BA/BS required; MBA preferred.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and relationship-building skills across organizational levels.
  • Extensive E-commerce, paid, and organic digital experience, with CX thinking; familiarity with modern demand generation technologies and platforms.
  • Experience organizing events, tradeshows, and conferences.
  • Knowledge of the Legal markets is a plus.
