Job summary

Restaurant Brands International is seeking a seasoned Real Estate Transactions professional to negotiate and manage restaurant site deals across Western Canada.

You will build financial models, coordinate with Development Analytics, Construction, Legal and Field Ops, and present recommendations to senior leaders.

This full-time role offers a base salary of 125,000–145,000 CAD, discretionary bonus, equity grants, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or equivalent degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years negotiating real estate transactions.
  • Ability to collaborate with different departments; proficient at building and maintaining relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem solving and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high number of active projects.
  • Excel and financial modeling for diligence and deal negotiation.
  • PowerPoint and presentation structuring.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate real estate transactions for new and replacement locations in British Columbia and Alberta.
  • Evaluate potential new locations to execute on the regional market plan.
  • Project coordination with Development Analytics, Construction, Legal and Field Operations teams.
  • Negotiation of Letters of Intent & final Lease documents.
  • Build and lead financial models, outputs and scenarios for diligence and deal structuring.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to executive level leadership.

Base salary range of $125,000– $145,000 CAD. Base salary for this position may vary based on relevant factors such as experience, education, location, and skills. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual discretionary bonus plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the incentive program, based on individual and company performance metrics.

This position may also be eligible for additional compensation in the form of equity grants pursuant to the Company’s long‑term incentive plan.

This posting is for a position that will become vacant on or around September 2026.

RBI follows a 5 day, in‑office work schedule to support collaboration. Successful candidates will be expected to work onsite 5 days per week.
