Job summary

Restaurant Brands International is seeking a data-driven and detail-oriented Manager, Operations to join our Burger King Canada team based in Toronto, ON. This role analyzes operational data, identifies trends, and provides actionable insights to improve guest experience, efficiency, and profitability.

You will lead initiatives with cross-functional partners, manage a direct report, and support training, standards, digital operations, and launches from ideation to rollout.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in restaurant operations, franchise operations, or operations analytics.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee initiatives end to end.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Skilled in working with and negotiating with franchisees and external vendors.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust as business needs evolve.
  • Experience in the QSR or franchise industry is a strong asset.
  • Bilingual (English/French) proficiency is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with field operations, marketing, supply chain, finance, and franchise teams to align launches, calendar activations, and digital promotions from an operations perspective.
  • Manage and develop one direct report, providing coaching and clear priorities to support team performance.
  • Support food product launches end to end, from initial product testing and market tests to national rollout.
  • Manage operations projects from ideation to execution related to equipment, standards, and digital operations (e.g. loyalty, restaurant analytics platforms, delivery initiatives).
  • Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining SOPs and training resources – including training videos, guides, and virtual trainings – for the field and restaurant teams.
  • Support the planning and logistics for training sessions and presentations involving restaurant teams and franchisees.
  • Manage relationships with third‑party partners, acting as the subject matter expert on their platforms and business operations.
  • Analyze restaurant and franchisee operational performance data to identify trends and recommend improvements to guest experience and efficiency.
  • Partner closely with US cross‑functional teams to stay informed on initiatives, identify opportunities to bring relevant programs to Canada, and draw on US team resources to strengthen support for the Canadian business.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for franchisee and restaurant communications, ensuring field teams and franchisees receive timely, accurate operational updates.
  • Spend time working/conducting restaurant visits (monthly) to build a hands‑on understanding of the business and see how projects and initiatives affect restaurant operations and guest experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 10–20% across Canada.

Job Summary

Restaurant Brands International is seeking a data-driven and detailed-oriented Manager, Operations to join our Burger King Canada Team based in Toronto, ON. This role is critical in supporting the performance, efficiency, and scalability of our business by analyzing operational data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights. This includes but is not limited to supporting training, execution, standards, digital operations, and various other operations projects. This individual will become a subject matter expert within operations, working closely with the Director of Operations, Sr. Analyst of Operations, field team, franchisees & restaurant teams, cross‑functional partners, and external vendors to provide franchisees with the insights and tools they need to improve guest experience, operational execution, and profitability. RBI follows a 5 day, in‑office work schedule to support collaboration. Successful candidates will be expected to work onsite 5 days per week.

Base salary range of $105,000 – $115,000 CAD. Base salary for this position may vary based on relevant factors such as experience, education, location, and skills. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual discretionary bonus plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the incentive program, based on individual and company performance metrics.
