About the Role

Reporting to the Director, IT Operations, we're seeking someone to support and manage infrastructure needs in a hybrid environment. You will work on Network, AD, Windows Servers, Cloud-based SaaS environments, and more. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team on tasks to deliver robust infrastructure for North American operations
• Work with management to build a 6-week change calendar
• Manage SD-WAN network architecture, design, and deployment
• Evolve network architecture and design
• Provide capacity planning and recommendations
• Perform off-hours patching of production infrastructure
• Use Jira for project and task management
• Troubleshoot network, server, and application issues
• Participate in Disaster Recovery tests
• Support after-hours on-call schedule
• Drive quality of service across the network
• Produce status reports for management
• Support team members outside primary expertise

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in planning, documenting, and executing projects
• Ability to support multiple projects concurrently
• Positive attitude in a dynamic environment
• Strong communication skills
• LAN/WAN design, development, and installation experience
• Network systems design and configuration knowledge
• Experience with Dell, HP, Fortinet, Cisco products
• VLAN, VOIP, MPLS/IPSEC VPN routing expertise
• Troubleshooting network and systems issues
• Technical expertise in routers, firewalls, switches
• Experience with Azure and AWS networking
• Knowledge of ITSM and ITIL frameworks (asset)
• Understanding of server computing and data centers
• Knowledge of Windows & Linux servers (asset)
• Experience with MS365, Active Directory, Azure AD (asset)
• Understanding of NIST Cyber Security Framework (asset)
• Knowledge of Agile principles (asset)
