Position Summary: A Senior Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for maintaining the design and integrity of the internal infrastructure platforms. They will provide expert technical assistance to teams and consulting services to the business area to understand needs. This role will be accountable for designing, technically leading implementation, and testing/troubleshooting complex/core infrastructure to ensure system stability.

What You'll Do:

1. Plan and develop infrastructure designs to meet current and future company needs.
2. Use data analytics, monitoring, and alerting to provide technical direction on infrastructure design based on actual data and trends.
3. Collaborate with global peers, review and share designs, and assist in building product and platform roadmaps. Follow roadmaps and guide support specialists.
4. Select product lines and platforms for infrastructure, including proof of concepts, testing, validation, and security compliance.
5. Educate and train other infrastructure specialists on your team to build, expand, and support designs.
6. Provide Level 3 support for complex infrastructure issues using appropriate tools for root cause analysis.
7. Offer consulting services for strategic projects and initiatives.
8. Create, update, and maintain design and build documentation; contribute to best practices and support knowledge bases.

Qualifications:

• Technical certifications from vendors such as Nutanix, VMWare, or Microsoft.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience: 6-8 years
