Job Description

Our team is growing, and we are actively hiring a Senior Property Field Claim Specialist to join us! Reporting to the Manager, Property Claims, you will investigate, assess, and settle large residential property claims for Allstate Insurance of Canada in Calgary, Alberta. This position is remote-based.

Job Responsibilities

  • Investigate and settle property claims in Calgary and surrounding areas
  • Interpret policy wordings and determine coverage and reserves
  • Analyze client coverage
  • Provide prompt, equitable claims settlement and excellent customer service
  • Collaborate with customers and vendors to resolve claims
  • Advise partners on coverage opportunities
  • Perform other related tasks

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of residential property claims experience or relevant property claims role
  • Completion of CIP designation or willingness to obtain it (preferred)
  • Experience with complex claim investigations
  • Strong communication skills and customer service commitment

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience handling large residential loss claims
  • Auto claims adjusting experience
  • Certifications like IICRC or HAAG
  • Experience with property estimating software such as Symbility or Exactimate
