We are looking for a Senior Claims Advisor to join our Calgary office!

This role can also be based in Vancouver.

As a Senior Claims Advisor, you will advocate for clients and serve as a liaison with insurers to resolve claims efficiently.

Your day as a Senior Claims Advisor

• Review new claims, gather information, and contact insurers.
• Analyze claims and coverage issues to find effective solutions.
• Provide technical advice on claims coverage.
• Advocate for clients during claim processes.
• Communicate professionally with clients and teams about claim status.
• Collaborate to develop client-specific claims processes.
• Support and mentor team members.
• Participate in presentations to clients and associations.
• Build relationships with adjusters, insurers, and legal counsel.
• Maintain accurate claim files and documentation.
• Prepare reports as needed.

Our Ideal Candidate

• Has completed or is working towards CIP certification.
• Has 5-7 years of claims experience, preferably in commercial insurance.
• Holds a Level 2 license or provincial equivalent.
• Experience with complex and high-value claims is preferred.
• Experience with construction, cyber, or technology claims is an asset.
• Possesses strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.
• Works well collaboratively and under pressure.
• Proficient in MS Office.
