Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Sr. Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee planning, repairs, routine maintenance, and stores within Building Automation.

You will guide a team, operate within existing control systems, and ensure delivery, inventory, cost and quality targets are met, while building team capability and driving continuous improvements. The role emphasizes supervision of preventive and corrective maintenance, O&M planning, budget management, and health and safety

Qualifications

• Must have at least 5 years in leadership roles.
• Extensive experience in facilities management and building maintenance, including supervision of trades resources.
• At least 3 years of experience in emergency maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring timely completion and adherence to preventive maintenance plans.
• Engage in the operation of facilities management.
• Manage and maintain facility assets.
• Participate in Operations and Maintenance (O&M) planning of site operations (resourcing, contractor scheduling etc.).
• Oversee maintenance services using CMMS platform.
• Identify minor repairs works to drive run rate.
• Budget and financial management.
• Third party contract management.
• OH&S risk assessment.
• Supervision of planning and monitoring of preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, as well as renovation and expansion projects.

Qualifications

MUST HAVE

• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in facilities management and/or building maintenance including supervision of trades resources
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency maintenance

• Previous experience in P3 operations
• Understanding of legislative requirements (e.g. Canadian Standards Association, Technical Standards and Safety Authority, Electrical Safety Authority, Building Code, NFPA Code, Ministry of Labor, Accessibility Act)
• Some experience in education institutions

• Ability to lead/drive change, and influence others
