Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Sr. Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee planning, repairs, routine maintenance and stores functions within Building Automation. You will guide a team, drive continuous improvements, and ensure delivery, inventory, cost and quality targets are met.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, asset management, contractor scheduling, budget control, OH&S and compliance, plus leading a skilled team toward operational excellence and cost reduction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience.
• 7+ years in facilities management and/or building maintenance.
• 3+ years in emergency maintenance.

You will operate within the existing facilities control systems and process and provide guidance to direct reports on clearly defined objectives. You will manage the team to meet the customers’ needs in terms of delivery, inventory, cost and quality. You will build up team capability and lead continuous improvements.

Qualifications

MUST HAVE

• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in facilities management and/or building maintenance including supervision of trades resources
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency maintenance

• Previous experience in P3 operations
• Understanding of legislative requirements (e.g. Canadian Standards Association, Technical Standards and Safety Authority, Electrical Safety Authority, Building Code, NFPA Code, Ministry of Labor, Accessibility Act)
• Some experience in education institutions

• Ability to lead/drive change, and influence others
