Job Overview

• Provide technical evaluation, considerations and proposals, as required in a number of major work areas, in facility for The Client.
• Maintain instructions and procedures up to date, prepare reports, review proposals from external organizations.
• Work as a part of Plant Design Pickering providing structural design support to modifications or work as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer with PEO and having 1O years of related experience. Degree in Structural Engineering to Canadian University Standards.
• Proficiency with Steel/ Aluminum/ Concrete structure design\analysis and use of structural engineering software preferably STAADPRO.
• Good Command in using Microsoft Office and Adobe is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interaction with clients, colleagues and contractors, including email correspondence using Microsoft Outlook.
• Preferred: Ontario Driver’s License and access to a vehicle.
