What You’ll Be Doing

Global Money Operations’, Payments Transformation Team helps synthesize technology and process strategy across channels, products, and multiple businesses for CIBC employees. This role facilitates business delivery and support for Commercial Banking Payments processed through Payment Hub as well as Data Repository and tracking systems. You will ensure our Business delivery supports compliance, regulatory and business requirements from an ISO/MX business perspective as well meeting the standards of payments SLAs. You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environments and are able to balance assertion and patience along with perseverance. Working with representatives from a number of areas across the bank, you will continually improve processes and systems in order to provide our clients with a seamless and efficient payment experience

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Business Analysis – Collaborate with business , back office and technology partners to gather and document complex business requirements by leading discussions, identifying scope, and defining appropriate solutions. Prepare and validate comprehensive business requirements to address both business objectives and technical considerations
  • Technology Acumen – Have the ability to technology and solution provided to align with business needs and impact with understanding of Payment flows (e-transfers, wires, cheques, EFT) and solutions.
  • Relationship Management – Build and foster strong business focused relationships through ongoing collaboration and regular touchpoints with key Stakeholders.
  • Subject Matter Expert – Experience working with MT standards as well as ISO20022 message translations
