The Canada Operations (CanOps) Business Delivery team is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to report to the Manager – Wealth Systems Support. This role is based at our London Head Office and focuses on representing business needs for strategic initiatives related to Business Systems and Automation.

The key responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to evaluate, document, analyze, and execute opportunities and requirements to enhance operational efficiency, project delivery, and service quality.

What you will do
  • Analyze team tasks and projects through stakeholder engagement to assess risks, manage expectations, and improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Guide and design test plans and acceptance criteria for system changes, ensuring alignment with business and system requirements.
  • Design and implement reporting strategies for data collection, review, and visualization for BAU, projects, and initiatives.
  • Contribute to the design, execution, and verification of automated and manual tests, including data requirements.
  • Ensure work accuracy and completeness to maximize quality and efficiency, focusing on process improvements.
  • Research industry trends and data to inform decisions and recommendations.
  • Identify risks and escalate issues promptly.
  • Provide status updates and participate in defect triage and testing meetings.
  • Manage own work through goal setting, planning, and time management to meet deadlines.
  • Build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to influence outcomes positively.
  • Identify and champion opportunities for team improvement.
What you will bring
  • Degree in Business Administration, Business Analyst certification, or Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • 3+ years in a business analyst, change management, or process improvement role.
  • Experience in strategic delivery within the financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of Insurance and Wealth products is beneficial.
  • Experience with ServiceNow and data visualization tools.
  • Understanding of testing principles and methodologies preferred.
  • Ability to influence change through collaboration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Quick learner with creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Project management certification and virtual desktop experience are a plus.

The salary range is $55,700 - $92,800 annually, exclusive of variable compensation components. Recruitment will be ongoing, with a minimum posting period of 5 business days.
