Job summary

Cloud Vital is seeking a skilled SQL Server DBA to join our Montreal team in a hybrid role (3 onsite, 2 remote). You will perform core DBA tasks, configure and maintain database servers, manage upgrades and migrations, and plan capacity for databases.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of SQL Server experience, strong backups/recovery skills, and HA/DR expertise. Proactive problem-solving and collaboration with developers are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA.
• Experience with SQL Server Administration.
• Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO).
• Hands on experience with backups, restores and recovery models.
• Experience of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server.
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
• Team player.
