Job summary

Cloud Vital is seeking an experienced SQL Server DBA for our Montreal-based operations. This hybrid role combines on-site duties (3 days) with remote work (2 days), aligning with our Operations team to maintain high-availability database services.

You will drive database upgrades, performance tuning, and disaster recovery planning while collaborating with developers and operations to optimize queries and schema designs. Emergency support and after-hours maintenance may be required.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA.
• Experience with SQL Server Administration.
• Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO).
• Hands-on experience with backups, restores and recovery models.
• Experience of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server.
• Critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
• Team player.
