Job summary

Indotronix UK is seeking a SQL Server Administrator to manage SQL Server environments across on‑premises and Azure platforms. You will lead performance diagnostics using Query Store, execution plans, DMVs, Extended Events, and Azure monitoring, focusing on tuning and optimization of T-SQL, indexing, and memory management.

The role covers CPU, storage I/O, TempDB, partitioning, locking, and deadlock resolution to ensure high availability and robust performance in a long-term contract.

Qualifications

• Administer and support SQL Server across on-premises, Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, and SQL Server on Azure Virtual Machines.
• Lead performance diagnostics and tuning using Query Store, execution plans, Dynamic Management Views, Extended Events, wait statistics, PerfMon, SQL Profiler, and Azure monitoring.
• Optimize complex T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing, statistics, partitioning, memory, TempDB, parallelism, locking, blocking, deadlocks, CPU, storage I/O, and transaction logs.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support SQL Server across multiple environments including on‑premises and Azure.
• Lead performance diagnostics and tuning using advanced SQL tools and monitoring.
• Optimize queries, indexing and configurations to improve efficiency and reliability.
