Job summary

Vipond Inc. in Ottawa is seeking a Sprinkler Service Sales professional to drive inside and outside sales for fire sprinkler systems, engaging customers by phone, email, and site visits.

Candidates should have knowledge of NFPA standards and OBC; 2 years in the industry is an asset. Training will be provided to the right candidate. Vipond offers a diverse workplace, flexible schedules, career growth, and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sprinkler systems and willingness to be trained in fire protection sprinkler sales.
• Experience with NFPA/OBC/NBC building codes is an asset.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and MS Teams.
• Willingness to travel to job sites and interact with customers.

• Inside & Outside sales focused and customer interactions by email or phone.
• Visit job sites as needed to support sprinkler sales.

About the position and skills required

………. Our ideal candidate has knowledge of sprinkler systems and is willing to be trained in the discipline of fire protection sprinkler sales. This position would require interaction with customers either by email or phone as well as visit job sites. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team setting along with excellent customer service skills is essential.Previous sprinkler design experience and/or strong understanding of NFPA standards and OBC with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the industry is an asset.
