Job summary

Rotaflow in Edmonton, AB is seeking a Service Sprinkler Technician to service, troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and maintain fire sprinkler systems at client sites across Western Canada. This field-based role requires strong technical knowledge, the ability to work independently, ensure safety standards, and communicate professionally with clients, project managers, and colleagues.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform service, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of fire sprinkler systems
  • Diagnose system issues and identify required repairs and deficiencies
  • Perform system modifications, replacements, and small installations as required
  • Conduct inspections and testing as required
  • Complete service reports, deficiency reports, and other required documentation accurately and on time
  • Coordinate with customers, Project Managers, and other team members to ensure work is completed efficiently
  • Communicate professionally with clients, contractors, and site personnel
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with applicable codes, standards, site requirements, and Rotaflow safety procedures
  • Maintain company-provided tools, equipment, and service vehicle
  • Maintain a high standard of workmanship and customer service

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Service Sprinkler Technician to join the Rotaflow team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems while delivering safe, professional, and reliable service to our clients.

This is a field-based service role that requires strong technical knowledge, troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while representing Rotaflow professionally at client sites.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage service calls

  • Strong commitment to workplace and client-site safety
  • UA Local 488 membership or eligibility to become a member, as applicable

This position falls under UA Local 488, with wages, benefits, pension, and other applicable terms and conditions provided in accordance with the current collective agreement.
