Active Fire & Safety Services Ltd. has a Vancouver-area role for a skilled sprinkler fitter. You will install sprinkler heads, mount pipes, connect systems to water mains and equipment, and ensure proper supports across commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential sites.

Candidates typically have a secondary school certificate and 1–2 years of relevant experience. You will work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and be detail-oriented.

Responsabilidades

• Install sprinkler heads and mount prepared pipe in supports
• Select, measure, cut, ream and thread pipe
• Connect piping systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors and control equipment
• Install clamps, brackets and hangers to support piping system and sprinkler and fire protection equipment, using hand and power tools
• Join pipes and piping sections using soldering and welding equipment
• Test system for leaks using air or liquid pressure equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
