Job summary

Healthy Planet in Canada is seeking a Sports & Fitness Advisor to energize lifestyles through sports nutrition knowledge and wellness trends. You’ll guide customers to make informed choices that support performance and recovery goals.

Engage customers, drive sales, and collaborate with teammates to hit targets. You’ll share product info, participate in training, and uphold a high standard of service and store presentation.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in health-focused retail, sports nutrition, or customer service
• Strong knowledge of sports supplements, nutrition, and wellness trends
• Sales-driven with excellent customer service and communication skills
• Passionate about sports, fitness, and helping customers succeed in their wellness goals
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced retail environment

Responsibilities

• Engage in meaningful conversations with customers and deliver exceptional customer service tailored to their sports nutrition and wellness needs
• Drive sales to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets by effectively sharing product knowledge and benefits
• Provide customers with relevant information, products, and guidance (within reason), deferring specialized health advice to certified Advisors
• Work collaboratively in a team environment, leveraging available resources to meet customer and store expectations
• Replenish and stock merchandise appropriately to maintain attractive and well-organized displays focusing on sports nutrition products
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working and shopping environment at all times
• Keep in-depth knowledge of sports supplements, recovery aids, and nutrition essentials to educate customers and support sales
• Process transactions efficiently and accurately via the POS system
• Adhere strictly to all company rules, regulations, policies, and sanitation standards
• Collaborate with Health & Nutrition Advisors, Team Leads, and Store Managers to support store goals and enhance customer experience
• Participate in ongoing training and vendor demos to deepen sports nutrition expertise
• Share product insights with team members to build a knowledgeable and confident sales floor
• Completion of required Lessonly training modules
• Ongoing participation in workshops and brand education sessions to stay current on wellness trends and company initiatives
• Demonstrated commitment to attendance, punctuality, team collaboration, and reliability
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast‑paced retail environment
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active on the sales floor throughout shifts
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
