Whistler Mountain Ski Club in Whistler, BC is seeking an energetic Sponsorship and Partnership Manager to drive growth through strategic collaborations and mutually beneficial partnerships. You will leverage Sea to Sky relationships, negotiate sponsorships, manage campaigns, and develop programs that expand revenue and community engagement while delivering measurable results.

This is a part-time role with hybrid/remote options and includes a bonus program.

Qualifications

• Experience in sponsorship, partnerships, or fundraising is required.
• Proven ability to negotiate and close deals.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Identify, negotiate, and secure new sponsorships and strategic partnerships aligned with organizational goals.
• Develop comprehensive partnership strategies to expand revenue, brand reach, and community engagement.
• Manage the end-to‑end lifecycle of sponsorship agreements, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within scope.
• Collaborate with WMSC team and partners to create compelling sponsorship activation opportunities that maximize value and visibility.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing partners while proactively seeking new business development opportunities.
• Track partnership activities, monitor performance metrics, and generate insightful reports.
• Coordinate and lead fundraising events.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead sponsorship initiatives, develop new relationships, and build on our existing success in the industry. You will leverage existing Whistler and Sea to Sky relationships, along with your negotiation skills, project management expertise, and marketing insight to maximize partnership value and foster long-term success.

Offering a wage in the range of $30 – $40 with a flexible, part time schedule, hybrid / remote work.

The Perfect Candidate:

• Strong Sea to Sky connections with proven experience in business development, sales, sponsorship management, fundraising, or partnerships, with a track record of successful negotiations
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building lasting relationships with community business partners
• Ability to identify market opportunities and develop new sponsorship and partnership opportunities
• Demonstrated ability to develop strategic plans, execute campaigns, and measure outcomes effectively
• Confident and persuasive in presenting opportunities, negotiating agreements, and securing financial support
• Prior experience in Ski or Snowsports Industry preferred but not mandatory
