Job summary

William Osler Health System in Ontario seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to join Speech Therapy Corporate. The role covers dysphagia assessment and management, communication screening, and inter-professional collaboration across multiple sites.

The position is part-time with days/evenings, 8-hour shifts, and a casual employment type, reporting to the Clinical Services Manager, Professional Practitioner. Travel between Osler sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Computer literacy; Meditech experience is an asset.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical environment.
• Ability to work with an interdisciplinary team.
• Experience with videofluoroscopy is an asset.
• Experience with tracheostomies is an asset.

This position will report to the Clinical Services Manager, Professional Practitioner.

Accountabilities:

• Assessment and management of dysphagia using clinical and instrumental assessment
• Communication and screening/assessment and management

• Participating as part of the speech‑language pathology team, attending meetings and education sessions where required

Qualifications and Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology
• Registered and in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Computer literacy;experience with Meditech an asset
• Ability to multitask and effectively manage time in a fast paced medical environment
• Ability to work with an interdisciplinary team
• Experience with videofluoroscopy an asset
• Experience with tracheostomies an asset

Hours: Currently days/eveningsincluding weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)

Minimum: $47.07 per hour

Maximum: $61.01 per hour
