Job summary

CBI Home Health is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to serve Oshawa, Courtice and Bowmanville. The role offers flexible scheduling with opportunities for full-time, part-time, casual, and independent contractor arrangements across Home Health Ontario.

Compensation includes per-visit pay with travel considerations and a $5,000 sign-on bonus, plus a comprehensive benefits package. You will perform swallowing assessments, dysphagia management, and communication interventions in home settings,

Qualifications

• Registered member in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
• Comfortable delivering care in person and via virtual methods/technology.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team.
• Flexible with critical-thinking across varied situations.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and implementation of SLP interventions in a home-based setting (swallowing assessments, dysphagia management, communication).
• Use of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team-based approach to care and services.
• Support a holistic and restorative approach to care (e.g., stroke pathway, cognitive communication supports).
• Leverage digital health platforms to support care delivery, collaboration, documentation, and intervention.

What you will do
