William Osler Health System in Brampton is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join the Clinical Services team, reporting to the Clinical Services Manager. You will assess and manage dysphagia, provide patient education, and coordinate care with inter-professional teams to ensure smooth access and flow.

Required: Master\'s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario; strong verbal and written

Formación

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Registered and in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literacy; experience with Meditech an asset.
• Ability to multitask and effectively manage time in a fast paced medical environment.
• Ability to work with an interdisciplinary team.
• Experience with videofluoroscopy an asset.
• Experience with tracheostomies an asset.
• Must demonstrate Osler's Values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion, Innovation and Collaboration.
• Excellent attendance, punctuality and work record required.
• May be required to travel between and work at all Osler sites.

Responsabilidades

• Assessment and management of dysphagia using clinical and instrumental assessment
• Communication and screening/assessment and management
• Providing education, resources and referral to patients and families in a clear and accessible manner
• Completing assessments and relays findings to patients, families and inter-professional teams in a timely manner to facilitate access and flow
• Participating as part of the speech-language pathology team, attending meetings and education sessions where required
