Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent.
• Currently in good standing with CASLPO.
• Eligibility for registration with the Ontario Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a high standard of patient care as per Speech Language Pathology policies.
• Assess and manage adults with dysphagia and communication disorders in acute care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team across units including ICU and ED.
• Provide discharge planning with multidisciplinary support and community resources.
• Record patient assessment, progress, and discharge status.
• Supervise Speech Language Pathology students.
• Cover Wilson, Reactivation Care Centres Finch and Church as needed.
