Job summary

Bayshore HealthCare is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-home assessments and therapies across Ontario. The role involves multidisciplinary collaboration, meticulous record-keeping, and ongoing professional development.

The ideal candidate has a Masters in Speech-Language Pathology, active registration, and 3+ years of experience. Proficiency with secure email and a valid driver’s license are required to support home-based care delivery.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required or recognized equivalent.
• Active registration with the College of Audiologists or Speech-Language Pathologists.
• 3 years’ experience in providing Speech-Language Pathology services preferred.
• Experience completing in-home assessments; knowledge of auto insurance and medical/legal reporting is an asset.
• Excellent written and oral communication; strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with email and basic computer use; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Develop tailored, evidence-based therapy plans for clients.
• Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, educators, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate client records compliant with regulatory standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and learning opportunities.
• Educate clients and families with strategies to support communication and swallowing.

Education

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Registration with College of Audiologists or Speech-Language Pathologists

Three years’ experience in Speech-Language Pathology

In-home assessments and treatments knowledge (asset)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

Education And Experience

• Post Secondary School: Masters Degree or recognized equivalent in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Registered and in good standing with the College of Audiologists or Speech-Language Pathologists required.
• Three years’ experience providing Speech-Language Pathology services preferred.
• Experience completing in-home assessments and treatments; knowledge of auto insurance and legal system is an asset particularly medical/legal report writing.
• Enjoy working with clients of all ages in multiple treatment environments. Strong communication (oral and written) and exceptional interpersonal and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of personal computers, and proficiency with secure email. Valid driver’s license.
