Position Summary

We are seeking a Casual Speech-language Pathologist.

Days of work: Rotating, Days

Shift times: 08:00 to 20:00

This is a casual position. Casual means hours are not guaranteed and that days of work and shift times may vary. Many careers with us begin with casual employment and lead to permanent or temporary career opportunities.

This position is for a remote/virtual adult communication and swallowing assessment and treatment SLP who works well independently and has experience in adult conditions resulting in communication deficits. Hours and days of week are flexible to the availability of the applicant. Must be computer savvy enough to navigate online platform and help walk the client through same.

What will you work on?

Join a dynamic and dedicated team of caring professionals as an autonomous professional who has expertise in typical development and disorders of communication as well as assessment and intervention in these areas. The Speech-Language Pathologist may work directly with clients and/or with their caregivers or other persons who regularly interact with them for the purpose of creating environments that promote optimal communication. The Speech-Language Pathologist contributes to the organization and the overall goals of the department/program quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research and education.

Qualfications

Full practicing registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (CHCPBC).

One year’s clinical experience with adults in a hospital setting and/or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. New grads are also welcome to apply.

Valid BC Driver’s license where required.
