Interior Health Authority is seeking a Casual Speech-Language Pathologist for the Penticton Regional Hospital. This role offers flexibility around commitments and exposure to a variety of areas supporting SLP clients in the South Okanagan. New graduates and experienced SLPs are encouraged to apply.
The Speech-Language Pathologist will work autonomously to create optimal communication environments, participate in quality assurance initiatives, and support the department's overall goals.

Days of Work: days as required.
Shift times/Hours of work: 08:00 to 16:00.

The Speech-Language Pathologist is an autonomous professional who has expertise in typical development and disorders of communication as well as assessment and intervention in these areas. The Speech-Language Pathologist may work directly with clients and/or with their caregivers or other persons who regularly interact with them for the purpose of creating environments that promote optimal communication. The Speech-Language Pathologist contributes to the organization and the overall goals of the department/program quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research and education.
