Job summary

Bayshore HealthCare is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team of professionals in Ontario. You will conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans to support clients in their homes and communities.

Qualifications

  • Post Secondary School: Masters Degree or recognized equivalent in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Audiologists or Speech-Language Pathologists required.
  • Three years’ experience providing Speech-Language Pathology services preferred.
  • Experience completing in-home assessments and treatments; knowledge of auto insurance and legal system is an asset particularly medical/legal report writing.
  • Enjoy working with clients of all ages in multiple treatment environments. Strong communication (oral and written) and exceptional interpersonal and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of personal computers, and proficiency with secure email. Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Create and implement personalized, evidence-based therapy plans.
  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work with physicians, psychologists, educators and other professionals for holistic care.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure meticulous client records, adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Engage in Continuous Learning: Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
  • Educate and Empower Clients: Provide strategies to support communication and swallowing functions.

Education And Experience
