Job Summary

We are currently looking to fill a Casual opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist at Queen's Park Care Centre in New Westminster, B.C.

Queen's Park Care Centre provides rehabilitation services, an adult day program, and a long-term care community. It has outpatient rehab and 76 inpatient rehab beds for patients with brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, and other neurological or musculoskeletal conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and swallowing assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and evaluate patient progress.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and participate in research and quality activities.
• Maintain accurate records and provide education to patients and families.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and serve as a resource for colleagues.

Qualifications

Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC, including relevant certification.
