About us

All Things Speech Inc. is a pediatric speech therapy practice in South Burnaby, BC, operating as part of Lifelong Health Ltd. The aim of the practice is to provide individualized and functional support to children and their families for various speech and language difficulties. Working together with clients and their families to set their communication goals and then work towards them is of utmost importance. All Things Speech is a neurodiversity-affirming practice - we strive to create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all of our clients and their families.

We are seeking a skilled and passionate pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team part-time to begin (with opportunity to grow into full-time hours). Most clients will be seen in our clinic. Hours/shifts to be discussed. This is an independent contractor position; however, we are open to discussing a salaried position.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and provide therapy to clients with a wide range of communication difficulties.
  • Collaborate with clients and their families to set SMART functional goals.
  • Develop and implement therapy plans to address clients' needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare/education professionals to provide integrated care to clients as needed.
  • Supervise and train SLP Assistants involved in supporting clients on caseload.
  • Document client progress in a timely manner and maintain accurate records using an EMR (Jane App).

Experience and Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of British Columbia.
  • Registration on the Registry of Autism Service Providers (RASP) is an asset.
  • Previous experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist is an asset.
  • Knowledge of a second language is an asset.

  • Strong time-management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to operate various software/equipment related to the job.
  • Ability to embrace neurodiversity and adapt own practice as needed.
