Located in the beautiful Columbia Valley of the East Kootenays Rocky Mountain serves 3343 students in 18 schools spread over 270 kilometers. Rocky Mountain School District No. 6 is now accepting applications for the role of Temporary, full-time (1.0 FTE) Speech & Language Pathologist in Golden, BC. This role is effective October 15, 2025, to June 26, 2026.

This position requires an individual with demonstrated leadership skills, experienced in the following responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of discipline specific best practices in assessment and intervention with children with speech, language, or developmental delays
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individual education plans designed to grow communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, as well as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills

This position requires a Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology (or equivalent); eligible for membership in CASLPA and/or BCASLPA, combined with 3-5 years' experience in the field as well as a valid BC driver's license and use of a personal vehicle.

Salary Range: $98,433 - $123,041
