About The Role

We’re looking for a sales-focused Client Manager who will leverage their industry knowledge and expertise to provide front-line counseling to our clients about their personal insurance coverage, tailored to their unique needs and exposures. This role requires knowledge of rural property exposures and Hobby Farm risks, along with finding coverage solutions for difficult-to-place property risks.

What You’ll Do
  • Sell coverage for Rural Properties and Hobby Farms. Commercial farm knowledge is not required.
  • Provide exceptional day-to-day customer service to clients and handle client file activities to maintain retention targets.
  • Issue policies and changes on insurer online portals; maintain professional relationships with key underwriters.
  • Review and process renewals, endorsements, and midterm changes; rewrite/remarket as needed to enhance the client experience.
  • Contribute to premium growth by upselling appropriate coverages and referring business to other lines where applicable.
  • Stay updated with insurer partner products, offerings, and market intelligence.
What You Bring
  • RIBO License in good standing; AB Gen 1 or other provincial license is an asset.
  • Typically, more than 3 years of industry and/or personal lines experience, preferably with broad market portal experience (e.g., Aviva, Economical, Intact).
  • Knowledge of Mutual Markets is an asset.
  • Proven experience managing a high volume of clients.
  • Experience in a Contact Centre environment is an asset.
  • Excellent computer skills, including fluency in Broker management systems like EPIC & ARS.
  • Ability to drive customer retention through excellent service.
  • Exceptional quotation skills for cross-selling, upselling, and remarketing.
  • Quick learner of the NFP business model and value proposition.
  • Ability to work collaboratively both in person and virtually.
  • Strong communication skills in both oral and written English; French is an asset.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining service quality.
  • Professional insurance designations (e.g., CAIB, CIP, CRM) are a plus.
