Sobeys Inc. is seeking a Specialty Meat Counter Clerk to deliver excellent customer service and prepare specialty meats. You’ll join a team behind popular products, contributing to a welcoming in-store experience for shoppers.

The role requires fast-paced teamwork, attention to safety, and flexibility for hours, including evenings and weekends. You will help with displays, stocking, and preparing meat products while upholding company standards.

Responsibilities

• Upholds and complies with company procedures, standards and policies in all situations.
• Greets customers in a polite and friendly manner.
• Demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with Safeway’s programs.
• Maintaining and building merchandise displays in compliance with Safeway programs.
• Use of commercial power equipment and knives.
• Displays of specialty meats and seafood.
• Preparing pre-made specialty meat products.
• Receiving, stocking and rotating product.
• Use of hand wrapper, and scale, pricing meats.
• Cleaning and sanitizing.
